I'm surprised that Dan Brown's Deception point and digital fortress hasn't been so well received as Da Vinci they are much better. Angels and Demons have fabulous setting.
actually, i quite like lost symbol.... his Robert Langdon stories are pretty tight.Deception Point and Digital Fortress sucks big time... maybe the heroes are less compelling than Robert Langdon.
I also enjoyed the Angels and Demons movie.

I like Dan Brown's style of writing.
But my favorites are Digital Fortress and Deception Point.
Then Angels and Demons then Da Vinci and on the last place the Lost symbol.
Dan Brown failed to impress me with the Lost symbol one of the reason that many things that he described in his book (besides the Masonic fraternities I'm not much interested in that) are really not that new to me. The information felt somewhat obsolete and trivial instead of wowing me like some of the others of his work.
As a consolation I got another book at the same time. Taiko I recommend that to anyone intersted in feudal Japan romance-history. -
