Look at the way u are arguing and bringing the points across. Since when does believeing in God stop us from progressing in technology and science. People and society HAS progressed with religion and will continue to do so with our without the belief that there is an Almighty.
Why cant u think that believers that really want to understand the truth will use science to discover the secrets. What do u think those nations were doing ? Going back to the stoneage ? Cant u see the medical advancement? Who and where the scientific discoveries come from.. from athiests ? No. From both. Different beliefs, but both share the same passion of discovery and understanding the unknown.

thru the internet...of cuz u can say that these figures are fabricated but if u bring the matter to court, the judge will ask u if u can provide evidence tat the statistics is false...if u cun, the judge will rule it to be true and valid...
in fact if u juz observe ard u...combine the number of ppl who believe in religion(all religion teach abt some sort of god/deity/higher being), u can more or less guess the number of ppl who believe in some sort of god compared to those who dun...

if u believe in the afterlife, u'll have all the time in the world in the afterlife to ponder such impossible questions. no one knows for sure unless they've passed. if they've passed, they couldn't be here to vouch. catch 22 so why bother?

Tell you a true life story.
My aunt pass away. Their children convert my aunt to a christian. At the wake, it is christian affair.
My uncle came, he's buddhist. My uncle, of course, sadden by the lost of his sister. Went to buy coffee and food and jossstick to offer his late sister. Nothing wrong right?
My aunt children told my uncle, : " If you want to offer prayer, food, drinks, joss stick, please move further away and pray at one corner."
My uncle was heart broken when heard that. Then out of sudden, a very strong gust of wind topple the table (in fornt of her table)! My uncle quickly offer food and joss stick at one corner and the wind suddenly stop.
Until now, I still remember the incident.
Why when pple going to die, you then convert the going to die pple to chris?

Each religions have different interpretation of where a soul goes.
But I am certainty not happy when christian say all christian go to heaven. Then why still got christian around in this world? Might as well all die, all go heaven right?

i can tell u y but u r not going to like the reason...true, once become christian may as well die straightaway rite? the reason y we dun go straight to heaven after we die is cos we are needed to remain on earth to reach out to those who are still unbelievers...so the aim is to bring as many ppl wif u to heaven...this is the part in christianity when we accumulate merits although accumulating merits dun bring us to heaven.

if god is all merciful and is not discriminatory and compassionate, why not all go to heaven? here lies the paradox. since you claimed that god is the creator of all things, we are considered his offsprings isnt it, why some are born rich and poor some disabled, some intelligent, some stupid etc. the list goes on.
by the word, your reply to my question is it god's reply or your reply? if its your reply, then whats god reply on this issue? surely you cannot speak for god can you?
