this is one messed up universe
but seriously man, you creationists should stop argueing about the big bang theory.
it is the only scientific theory that supports the existance of GOD, creation of something out of nothing
big bang theory and GOD theory is not the same lah.
big bang theory says there is no GOD and everything is created naturally by itself.
from politics to social to god?
omg
where is your anti PAP rantings here? dun see any

The big bang describes the first few moments of the universe, it tells us nothing of the origin of the big bang or the universe. You should be clear on this distinction..
Additionally the person who proposed the idea of the big bang in the first place, Georges Lemaitre, was a Roman Catholic Priest, and in fact at the time a lot of supporters of the steady state theory opposed it because in their opinion it was a "creationist" concept.
So how come now creationists think the big bang is an "evolutionary" concept is a little ironic and strange... but maybe because they are fundementalist creationists who believe in a literal, word by word, blow by blow account of creation... ala. creation in Genesis was a scientific description of what actually happened...
I don't see any reason why this should be the case beyond personal fancy, pretty much like how an ex-pastor of mine told me dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex did not exist and were mythical creations (like dragons or other fantasy animals), and he seemed quite serious about that. Which to me was a bit odd, given to that point I had actually seen for myself several examples of T.rex skeletons mounted at exibitions and musuems.
So they were all faked for kicks? Some guy had a fancy idea there ought to be a T.rex and made some fake bones and then got the entire paleontological community who is often cash-strapped (Jurassic Park cost most money to make then the entire annual amount of cash paleontology in America recieves to conduct it's research) to be along in the conspiracy to fake out over 3,000 other different species of dinosaurs just for the fun of it?
Er, I don't know, but I think my ex-pastor's ideas probably holds less water then the people who believe the moon landing was a hoax. But the thing that did disturb me a bit was that he believes in it, and believes in it truly.

You can believe in something truly, but that dont make it a fact or the truth!

Yep, I believe that applies for everybody...
adam and eve..interesting people..yes they are the first humans..they themselves commit no incest..but their children..married each other and gave birth to more children..in no way was there a sexual relationship between parents and children..only among siblings..scientifically speaking..incest isnt wrong..morally speaking..God permitted such acts at first so there could be more humans..he only intervened when the effects of incest among imperfect humans were too serious..
creationist and big bang theroy..which is more logical??
you walk along a street..you saw an intricate timepiece..so beautifully crafted..gears were set so in tune..then you tell yourself..cant be a master craftsman who made this..must be some gears and other parts just got near each other and just had a chain reaction that resulted in the watch you saw...
or..there is a master craftsman who is so skilled in making watches and he made the watch that you saw lying on the street..look around us..everything in nature and the heavenly bodies..so perfectly designed..look into your own body..an organ slightly smaller the size of your own fist takes care of cleansing off your urine..if made by a man, that dalysis machine is so huge..
is there a need for more proof of a superior being that has the power to create?
