Singapore is one corrupt nation. Laurence is no bully he's a man without common sense a bad copy of man. A sad occurrence what a person could become these days without conscience, moral guidance, empathy and love. he is a failed man.

as long as there is a single god or many god concept, I would reject it. if the so called god is so almighty, why would there be so many wars and conflict in this world. why would the god create so many sufferings in this world? and why banish non believers to hell, since everyone are your creations. the reason i reject is because, of the absurdity that non believers go to hell. i believe religions should be free will and freedom of enquiry, not some commandments like this

this was used to scare people in accepting some thousands of years ago. but this is now, where people now are more educated and technology is more advanced. technology revealed more about the world around us than god.

I think the christian definitely will have the answers to your qns.
Looks to me you are a "science" guy. I am too.
But of course, my religion is buddhist. Both dont clash so im fine with that. My gf is still trying to persuade me to join christian.
There was this chap that went from door to door to preach about christianity. When he encounter me, he ask me " don't you find nowadays the world are filled with doom and gloom? There seems to be more and more killing and crimes going on?"
And goes on to say about the end of time is nearing and all. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.
I simply reply him " well, if you compare it to history where there is much more killing, isn't it much better now?"
He paused for a while and say he will get back to me regarding this issue. End up he never get back to me at all.
Oh ya, i don't know whether is it chritianity, but he did mention jesus so i just assume it is. It has been quite awhile back so pardon me if im wrong.

how does Jesus save you? but first you need to be a believer first, cos non believers are consigned to eternal hell. but first, we are his creations, why must treat believers and non believers differently? like a parents treating some children very good and some not good. why the bias? telling someone you are going to hell just because he is a non believer is not something nice, in fact it is downright rude and ridiculous. for your info, not all ang mors are christians and catholics in their country. some cannot accept this hell thingy and convert to buddhism, and some islam. some are atheist and agnostic. -

I was glad that I am a non believer. never will now and in future cos I am unable to accept their hard to understand commandments/teachings, which is not logic to say the least.

no dun get me wrong, I have nothing against christianity or other god religions. but I find the hell thingy is a bit ridiculous, bordering on the absurdity. Also I cannot accept this, other religions is satanic or satan. some religions even want to kill non believers. -
I researched on other religions, like hinduism, buddhism, taoism, confucianism, christianity, catholic, Islam, bhagavad gita etc. I cannot profess to be an expert in all of them, but I know the gist of the religions mentioned. There are about 300 plus religions in India alone, mind you, not to mention its many languages in India and its famed caste system. the highest caste are the brahmins (priests) and the lowest caste (lowest of the low), based on birth. If you are born an outcaste, there is no way you are going to grow your way out of poverty or outcaste, and thats blatantly unfair. no one is born poor or outcaste all his/her life. the poor can be rich, and vice versa. the best system is meritocracy, you are what you are if you are capable, even if you are rich and powerful. so the hell thingy is ridiculous. since god said we are his creations, then why banish his sons/daughters abeit non believers to hell and reward believers to heavens and eternal bliss? I just can't accept this. aren't parents supposed to be unbiased even if the children misbehaved or doesnt listen to the parents advise.
