Just a word "shand di"...There are more proves that the only god China pray to is the same god we prayed...
But i forgotten them cus the list are like soooo long and some are really in dept and lots of quoting from chinese and my chinese ain't good at all lolsIt was only after sometime, Buddha and all those others "gods" appear...

hey, i noe where u got all those information from...hehe. well, i dun tink many of the ppl here noe abt wad u juz shared and they probably dun care even if the very early ppl in china believed in one God...wad matters to them is tat many modern ppl dun...but then again, theres a big difference btw god n God...

Yes you are right back then the emperors were to recite some kind of oath. Anyway the oath sounded like the Chinese knew God. As I read what the Chinese Emperor had to recite at the moment of their inauguration to be emperor it gave me goosebumps....surely there were some very wise people who knew God then. They definitely had the knowledge of God. -

so that would make the "only one God" idea/concept the oldest in the world...if tis can be proven to be true to the laymen n general public, then the bible prophecies abt man becoming more corrupted, worshipping the creature rather than the creator has come to pass long b4 any of the other polytheistic religions were birth forth...

Well, this is at best grasping at straws and is not conclusive, not forgetting that there is no reference nor proof of this
I am sure anyone can find in this a blog or website written by someone without verification from a neutral historical authority
Not forgetting that we are putting two and two to make five, few points to highlight here
While the people of State of Shang believes in monotheism, there is no conclusive link to christianity...are you proving existence of a god, a single god, a christian god, the same god..etc?
Technically you dont pray to a Buddha
Perfect sacrifice...firstly doesnt prove its jesus, if he exists, secondly where is this line found and can it be interpreted differently?
Where does the line about noah even come from??
I wish people would take a scholarly or deeper approach to history, spritituality and test out the logic, the coherence of these materials if assuming each of the point is true

i tink we need to be clear tat popikachu is onli trying to bring across the idea tat the "one God" concept is not a new concept like wad some ppl would claim...cos he probably feels tat many ppl out there believe wrongly tat polytheism came b4 monotheism...

I'ma just sharing with other chirstians, our fore father from the old times, pray to the same god we prayed now ^^
Anyway, songs praising god were sang in the past also by the emperors, and not just a few songs like we do now, they sings many many songs and for hours ^^

hey popikachu, 1 advice for u lah....some times when u noe certain things, juz noe tat u noe enuff alredi...cos for some of these ppl here, even if u can produce evidence, they wil still find some way to deny it...i noe exactly where ur source was from i also believe it to be true...i can tellu tis...if u had posted i n tis thread " hey here r evidence tat God dun exist" n u produce some evidence...these ppl wun call u a liar but rather support ur evidence...u see, ppl alredi have a preset belief abt God n his existence...

the logic of those statements are not soundly argued for

Considering that Taoism is an older religion compared to Christianity, can i say then that Taoism is the more orthodox way of worshiping God compared to Christianity then?
