Is there only one god?

  oh yes, one more thing...most of these ppl either dun even believe in creation or they believe in creation but dunno who the creator is...hence they say tat there r many gods, also not noeing tat god n God r of diff definitions...so generally speaking, they r either saying tat none of the gods of the religion created earth cos everything was evolved or one of the gods did create earth but they dunno which one...

  it depend on which religion you talking about, christian, one god, hindu, one god, the different god, are the different form of the one god, in buddhism, many. If you can call them god

  yes u cannot label buddha as god cos he nvr claimed to be...in fact, he told his followers not to worship him or pray to idols...u can check wif the buddhists in the buddhist forum on this...

  Actually i am more of a person who believe in scientific evidences lol but of cos i wun trash the belief of having God creating this earth.

  cos buddhism has deviated over the yrs...u can ask the theravada buddhists abt tis...they wun pray to these idols...its the mahayana buddhists who will...

  he is the 2nd personification of God(the Son)...if u r going to ask me whether we worship 3 gods...i can explain to u but it will be very lengthy...the issue on the trinity is nt sth tat can be explained briefly...would prefer to pm u on tis instead...

  Anyone who worships one true God worship the same God at least that's how I view it. God can be worshipped irrespective of religion. Religion is man made. To put labels and compartmentalization to worshiping God is man's way not God's. To God there is only His people(those people who know Him and worship Him) and others. Not his Christians or his any religion and others though all people as all nations belongs to God. This is my view.

  I think all the buddha statue at the temple is built there out of respect for it.
