Does the christians believe in 2012 due to the planetary alighment there will be upheavals never withness before on our planet in moderrn era and so usher in a period of hope of change and uncertainty?

Jesus says there will be upheavals and natural disasters, etc prior to His second coming... if you look around us, we don't have to wait till 2012... there's already so much happening around us. The tsunami in 2004 that killed 200 over thousand people was so very heartaching, the Sichuan earthquake last year, the financial crisis...
Lots of Christians try to predict... all their predictions are correct, if their predictions are that there will be disasters... There are also those who try to predict Jesus's 2nd coming... for that one, don't think anyone can... because even Jesus doesn't know.

well say year 2000 is end of the world, we are still alive and kicking.
this is what year liao, still believe in that kinda end of the world thingy kaoz. if this was 200 years ago, this would have hoodwinked the people.
the only thing that will kill us is the nuclear bombs and comets that may crash onto earth.
