Can a christian marriage be chaste?

By the word chaste, means to have sex just to procreate not for self gratification..is it possible now in our time for a christian couples to practice it?

Lust does not believe God or His word, and hopes only in its own gratification. Lust cares only for itself. It will hurt, deceive, destroy, lie and anything else it has to do to sustain itself.

Heard that some couples after stopped having sex find the union much more fulfiling in the spiritual as they are not inflicted by carnal desires

i believe God created sex for a man and woman to enjoy. sex is a powerful gift, which brings a couple closer together - physically, emotionally, spiritually.
i personally feel that the teaching that sex is only meant for procreation is made by man, not by God. shrugs.

The divorce rate worldwide seems to be going up and yet marriages are formed daily..what the point of having a union borne out of money and sex?Is this sort of union even christian to begin with?
Look at the children being brought up in single parent households who do not know his father or mother?Is it fair to them?

I believe it is still possible. There are still people following what the bible says. It is a sin to have premarital sex so christians in general will wait till after marriage.

On the contrary, without lust how to procreate?

It's rare for a wife or husband to not have sex and only do it to reproduce...they are of a highly developed spiritual beings .If any married couples here in SG able to do this as christians it's really a blessing

before you say that it's a blessing - you have to show me that God intended sex only as a mechanical tool for reproduction and not a dynamic powerful force intended to bring a couple closer together, only to be enjoyed by the couple who are as one sacred flesh in God's eyes.

most of ppl who divorce. are not even full pledge christian.
which mean they hardly even go to church.
Childiren that has single parents. why isit not fair to them?
i don't understand what is this argument about.
when there is a traffic accident. do you go to the MP and ask why does this happen. when the driver broke the traffic Rules in the first place?

Umm, I am purely referrring lust between the lawfully married couple. Any lust outside this is considered sin in christian context.

You can't change a person's faith nor beliefs. because they have already drowned in it.
Sex is sex and it takes lust a form of sexual desire to initiate it.
