Jesus will definitely help you. If you remain strong and faithful to what you believe.
See the path, walk the path leave everything else to God imo. because we can't even control what will happen to us tomorrow. Staying strong in Christ is our only hope.
When your life is in a mess. DO NOT hold your logic supreme. Trust in God instead. We cannot see what lies ahead of us or why this or that happened. Do not hold your rational thinking supreme. Remain faithful to God. Remember this is the God who turned a slave read this word again a slave! into second in command of the entire Egypt. Then most probably the most advanced and strongest kingdom on the planet.
I'm not saying that everybody could expect his life to turn like Joseph's but the devil will create a lot of hurdles for Christians to overcome. Do not despair. Do not give up on your faith. Do your share and let God do the rest. Because you believe in Him. Because He will not let you be.
Jesus persecution that led to his crucifixion in rational thinking was the worst thing that could ever happened to a good innocent man. But look at Jesus he didn't despair. Because he trusts that in the end it is God who decides. Yes he died but he was resurrected to life eternal. His face shines more than anyhting and he is alive. And he is coming.
Remember as long as you remain faithful and true, you will not be ashamed in this world and in the next.
Please don't give up on your faith. Try to love God instead and be at peace with yourself, your life (no matter how messy it is now) and your neighbors(I know easier said than done). Hurdles will come but you know how a diamond is formed? Through the very high temperature and pressures of the earth crust. At first it was an ordinary stone but with a certain [painful] process it finally turn into the most precious stone that man after. Had there not been the heat and fire and the pressures there would not be the diamond to behold. And do you know how a diamond is found? Mostly through volcanic eruption. A thing that is considered a disaster to many men and most probably painful for the diamond If it had the capacity to feel ;-)

"We fix our eyes not on what is seen [suffering], but on what is unseen [eternal life free of suffering]. For what is seen [suffering] is temporary, but what is unseen [future good life with Christ] is eternal" (2 Cor. 4:18, NIV).
