please do some research on the definition of "cult".
Mormons and JWs are considered cults. One of the symptoms of cults: extra-biblical text.
Well, there are a lot division in christianity... Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Anglican and Protestant are known as the five main one. Apart from that, there are still Methodist, Baptist, Jehovah witness, 7 day adv, and many more...
tink of it as updates..disciples of JC and the people they converted being the original. then came pagan emperor constantine and his orders to group the christ believers together which gave birth to catholics.
catholics was so interested in political powers and eventually people saw they do not serve what should be and protested that gave birth to protestants. soon more n more people grew dissatisfied with the church(catholic, vatican) and came up with their own interpretations of the bible. that includes the mormons( who support polygamy woohoo) and the Jehovah Witnesses( who adhere strictly to the bible teachings)
dumbdumb, if u wanna know more about JW, ask me..i studied their works b4..
so many sects of nicholas in christianity..so many claiming they are God's chosen..yet within themselves they tear each other throats. behaving exactly like demons.

western orthodox use traditional Western liturgies rather than adopting Eastern liturgies such as the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.

Liturgy, is the public and corporate worship by the Church and her members, in other words, their services. For example, Holy Mass is the most common form of liturgy celebrated by Roman Catholics.
The Divine Liturgy is the Eastern Catholic/Orthodox equivalent of the Holy Mass. The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom is one of the forms used. St John Chrysostom is one of the Church Fathers.
Always good to learn more dumbdumb, more knowledge never harms.

http://www.carm.org/mormon.htm
i find this site very educational....it tells us what Mormonism ( a cult) is and why they got it all wrong...and they worship a mere human than God Almighty
such blasphemy!
*Joseph Smith Jr. is the founder
Its very very sad to hear of these sort of deviated cults/sects still around and 'polluting' minds, theres this news a while ago about a polygamous sex-fuelled "Church" of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints
i sure hope to see you guys dig out blasphmeous articles of other cults or even mainstream.. =)

whats the core belief of JW?, do they believe in JC?
Christianity has been divided from the very beginning. The first 'bible' was created by the Marcion sect. There were the jewish-christians, the gnostics, montanist, arians, ebionites, catholics etc. However by the end of the 2nd century, most of these various sects ceased to exist and catholicism became the mainstream catholic faith for the latter part of the 1st millenium till the eastern-western schism leading to the rise of the eastern orthodox church. The Catholic sect NT Canon became scripture while the other sects NT canon were destroyed though fragments have been found today. Haha subdivision is normal for all religions.
Protestantism came into being in the 16 century due to a dispute in the justification theology.
About Mormons. Not one mention the 1857 Mountain Meadows Massacre?
for the JW..they believe in JC as the son of God as stated in the bible. the almighty God is not a 3in1 God head. in this part, they are a little like Judaism..however, they believed truly that JC is the messiah and redeemer. just that JC aint no God.
core beliefs are that God, Jehovah, is the supreme being that has the right to rule all creation. JC the boy will support fully whatever the Dad wills.HS is a breath of God.
the so called armageddon is a period of time for dead loved ones to be resurrected so they can be judged and learn about Jehovah God.( this is the same God as Yahweh, Yodh He Waw He). all this will be inconjunction with the restoration of the planet and human body. while satan and frens is in the pit for 1k years. after the 1 k years, satan will be released for a final test.all who side him again will die.
btw, they do not believe in immortality of the spirit, hell fire, idolatries, xmas and easter.
basically, core beliefs = adhering to the bible lor.
ask me qns about the beliefs bah..i say jus like this i oso dun knw wan say wat.
