Anything wrong with my name?

  Hi my name is Gabriel. Whenever i introduce myself, my friends will ask me which church am i from. I will reply i am not a christian. They will appear somewhat amused.

  When i check the web for the meaning of my name (gabriel), it means someone devoted to god or a strong man of god. I am a free thinker. So what do you think? Is this name not suitable for me?

  Not to mention Angel Gabriel was the one through whom God revealed the Qu'ran to the Prophet. =)

  Hmm same thing with Michael.

  People just don't know what Michael actually means anymore.

  It literally means: "Who is like God."

   

  But I know one Michael who doesn't believe in God.........but his name exalts God .

  If I had a son I would name him: Michael Withstand, pretty cool name especially considering that I'm a tanks buff LOL.
