Anyway, to answer your question, I seriously saw no difference pre, during or post pokemon/digimon period. More importantly, TS is generalising with that first statement. -

but i think pokemon and digimon's pretty childish for me. i only enjoy the smosh version.
hmm but from what i understand, some witches who reformed and became christians stood up and shared information about certain parts of the text are actual spells they do use in rituals etc.
also, the bible condemns witchcraft of any kind, and of course christian families are concerned that kids after watching such shows will idolize harry potter and run around with straws playing and imagining themselves as wizards and casting spells at one another.
and alot of references in the books, are pagan in nature
so i really do understand. i guess its really up to the individual. i watch it because the effects are awesome. etc.
and some christians don't support the film, so they chose not to watch it, not because they believe they will get possessed by demons or what, but its simply their stand. kinda like animal rights group, they choose to march down the street naked or choose not to buy certain brand of food or apparel because of their principles.
i think people who try to jest at such people who chose to stand up for what they believe in are just immature. personally i don't see anything wrong with it.
