Hope you enjoy the books that you get to read. I don't have book recommendations for you, just a word of caution to be careful when reading such books. When it comes to religion, I doubt there are many books (if at all) that are truly neutral and 'fact-based', even if it purports itself to be so.
For example, a seemingly neutral and to many, a logical opening like, "Let's start by agreeing that the Christian bible is the only true word of God, everything that God wants to tell us is found in this most holy of book and no where else ... ", would in itself be based on the views and prejudices of the author because a great number of Christians (eg: the Catholic Church) do not agree with this statement. Their position is that God's word comes to us through the Church and the bible, not bible alone. It was the Church that preceded the bible and nowhere in the bible does it say or claim to be the be-all and the end-all of God's word.
So bottomline is to have a critical mind as you journey through these readings. Cheers.
