  In Singapore society, we are so sheltered that few of us has ever faced the "valley of the shadow of Death"
  
  What does Psalm 23 really means to you ?

  You never read the papers? so many things happen to Singapore everyday but the papers will never publish that "though i may walk through the valley of death".

  Sometimes the valley of death may not be exactly like what David faced when he was surrounded by enemies trying their best to kill him.
  
  but it can mean facing hopeless situations, family, financial situations, relationships...whatever it is, and you feel hopeless.
  
  Ps 23 is to say that no matter what happens, there's nothing to fear, because we know where we come from and where we're going, even if the worst happens.
