its really up to you. i'm not gonna say if u put an yin yang sign, you're gonna get possessed by the devil or something.Originally posted by popmynutsy:i like to get the taoist tattoo, the 1 that is a circle and then is split in to 2 parts, 1 black 1 white, then black got 1 white dot, and white got 1 black dot.
i find it very meaningful to me, like never judge a book by its cover.
but i believe in god, then i still can put?
but i dont believe in taoism, just that the symbol is very meaningful to me. but if i got other tattoo, can i put that?Originally posted by dumbdumb!:its really up to you. i'm not gonna say if u put an yin yang sign, you're gonna get possessed by the devil or something.
firstly, when you say that you believe God, have you accepted Him as Lord and Savior? If you are, then proceed to the 2nd question:
Secondly, as a christian, does that symbol glorify God? Does it make you salt and light of this world? Will people see you as a good example? If it does, then proceed to the 3rd question:
and thirdly, in everything, love must be most important. will other christians be stumbled by it? will God be pleased with it?, if you cause other believers to be stumbled, you're not acting in love, and you should consider not doing so, even if you're in the right. If the answer to this question is no, then go ahead and tattoo the yin yang symbol onto your body.
meaningful. dont u find it?Originally posted by laurence82:why deh? why?
you didn't really answer my 3 questions. you don't have to tell me your answers, because it's really between you and God.Originally posted by popmynutsy:but i dont believe in taoism, just that the symbol is very meaningful to me. but if i got other tattoo, can i put that?

haha i never asked if you believed in Him, I asked if you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and SaviorOriginally posted by popmynutsy:1) i believe him like all christians have the believe in him. just that i do not attend church regularly. but i believe in him everything. but i going to church once my school starts.
2) that symbol doesnt glorify god. cause different religion. and it does not make me the salt and light of the world. and people wont see me as good example.
3) some will get stumbled, some will not i think. god wont get pleased with it.
Some monks have this symbol/tattooOriginally posted by dumbdumb!:its really up to you. i'm not gonna say if u put an yin yang sign, you're gonna get possessed by the devil or something.
i heard about this, that if u put tattoos, devil can spiritual attack u.Originally posted by dumbdumb!:its really up to you. i'm not gonna say if u put an yin yang sign, you're gonna get possessed by the devil or something.
well, its not about putting on tattoos that's why spiritually you'll get attacked.Originally posted by popmynutsy:i heard about this, that if u put tattoos, devil can spiritual attack u.
and ur question, i did recieve god. i now still believe in him, just that i do not attend church atm.
Your testimony that you heard, counts for nothingOriginally posted by dumbdumb!:i'd like to give a testimony i heard about a bike gangster who became a christian. his whole body was filled with tattoos, and particularly 1 tattoo was the one which glorified satan. 666. so anyway after receiving Christ, and after a few years, his cell leader asked if he'd like to be baptised, but the biker was hesitant, because he was ashamed of his tattoos and was afraid of what others would think.
he told his cell leader that he wanted to laser off everything first before he got baptised. his cell leader told him its ok, God judges the heart, and not the outside, if his heart was repentant, it doesn't matter what others think.
so he registered for baptism. and a miracle happened.
when he entered the waters and rose from the depths.. no all the tattoos were still there..
except the one which glorified satan. the 666 was gone.
put it in your forehead and you'll be treated like godOriginally posted by popmynutsy:i like to get the taoist tattoo, the 1 that is a circle and then is split in to 2 parts, 1 black 1 white, then black got 1 white dot, and white got 1 black dot.

That was a cheeky but good story about tattoo but if a person's body is truly covered with tattos I am sure he would rather keep the 666 and lose the rest. This form of body art is still very misunderstood in society unless maybe if you live in New Zealand.Originally posted by dumbdumb!:so he registered for baptism. and a miracle happened.

do you mean the god won't get pleased or the god will be pissed/affronted. quite alot of difference.Originally posted by popmynutsy:1) i believe him like all christians have the believe in him. just that i do not attend church regularly. but i believe in him everything. but i going to church once my school starts.
