The correct mindset to have when attending a healing service

What is the correct mindset one should have when attending a healing service. Are we supposed to believe wholeheartedly that God MUST heal you?
For me, i bear in mind that whether God heals me or not, i know his ways are the best. This happens as i am being prayed to be healed. -

okok, jokes aside..
i think its good to go with expectancy. those people who went to Jesus for healing, didn't go with the heart that says "erm, i'll take whatever he gives me"
they went with the expectancy, to the point its a desperate demand to be healed.
the woman who was bleeding, broke the commandment to stay away from everyone, just to grab the cloak of Jesus to get healing.
the leper appeared to a crowd, also breaking the law, where Jesus finished preaching to ask for healing
the 4 friends of the crippled dude, tore off a roof to cute queue for their crippled friend to get healed.
the crowds who followed Jesus until he bo bian, got to continue healing them even though he was exhausted.
these acts were not from half hearted desires. these people were desperate enough to do whatever it takes to catch the Healer's attention. and they're not going to leave without the healing.
and these actions speaks of great faith too. -

This is not holding Him ransom, but highlighting His contractual obligations.
The impression I get from laoda's pet peeve - the health and wealth gospel - is that healing you is His contractual obligations. -

God can heal (no one will dispute this) and God is willing to heal.
Since God is willing to heal, then my prayer to be heal will be a prayer according to His will and hence I can believe that my prayer will be answered.
heck... why pray for healing when sick, why not pray for good health instead? -

God is able to heal me because he is God. Omnipotent; its one of his characteristics.
I cant comment on this because i think to myself, if God is willing to heal, why hasnt he healed me? On the other hand, my common sense tells me that healing and being healed are something good, therefore God would want to do a good thing and thus, he is willing to heal. -
btw, since i have not stated the definition of 'sick' shall we enlarge the scope to abnormalties, illnesses and diseases.

Is this how you relate to God? By thinking in his shoes? If so, then you are quite like atheists when they argue why God doesnt just show himself if they want us to believe him. But you are not. The fact is in front of your face. There are sick chirstians, some abnormal, some bear congenital diseases or permanant illnesses. And i am sure many of these christians have attended healing services but they arent healed. In light of(pls correct me if i use this phrase wrongly
) your answer, what is your say?
God's plan. I can only say that different people experience God in different ways. Sick christians experience/ encounter God comparatively easier, due to their inabilities, most of them are humble and look towards God. Sick people have more mature insights about certain issues.

Years back, I visited NCC. Halfway into the sermon, "supernatural pregnancy" was preached, i.e. a pregnancy without pain/suffering. I have also heard about it through a friend whose wife was pregnant. They attended another church (not CHC), but also read a book on the same subject.
As some of you know, my wife is pregnant. For a few weeks up till now, she is nauseous almost everyday. Each time she vomited, I can only watch helplessly. Out of desperation, remembering what I have heard before, I prayed that God to take away all this discomfort but she continued to vomit every other day.
Just last evening, she told me she was feeling very down because of all this. I told her not to worry. I continued that God sees her agony and He will comfort her. I asked her not to struggle by herself but struggle with God. When she fully depended on God, she will find comfort.
Indeed, as she was doing her quiet time today, the passage she read comforted her deeply. She began to accept that these discomforts are part and parcel of being pregnant. She now understands that in spite of her discomfort, she has to persevere so that this life in her can continue.
Though my wife's situation is not exactly an illness, but I think we can draw some parallels. I think it's the attitude towards our condition that is important. Of course, we go to a healing rally eager for God's healing. But it is important to fully depend on God in spite of our feelings or situation. It is in these times that we struggle with Him, then we can be transformed. -

There also those who due to their inabilities, blamed God for wanting them to remain like this and became negative in everything and turn others away from God.
