Some mega churches affect students adversely

Don't look at me but I have heard of such incidents happening. What are the churches in Singapore doing to handle such incidents? I started a thread before where I highlighted a preacher from New Zealand telling the gullible teens that they are prone to demon possession if their parents worship idols. That is like 90% of Asians!

zzz, the doctor being pissed was valid, it was his family who was affected. me getting pissed off at certain churches, is validated, because i was affected, my family was affected.
but some of you guys don't even know what's going on, and start picking sides.

its like, to kill a mockingbird, where everyone blamed the african-american for raping and killing a girl, but its not him, and the case was much more complicated than that, but EVERYONE blamed him because its the popular choice. they didn't even bother listening to the facts of the case, but they were so ready to blame him, because of what some people said.
i've been to certain churches like that. i know the struggles of making those choices. i know the choices are very greyish, and not black and white. i find some of the things they try to put into the members' minds are questionable, but that's because i was there. were you?

the doctor was angry, because his family was falling apart from direct impact from the church.
i can be angry at the church, because my family nearly fell apart too because of the ex church i went to.
but what the fuck are you making so much noise for? is your family falling apart because of some church? are you even a christian?

the reasons these kids are doing badly in school is because they don't know how to manage their time. the problem don't lie with the church. the church don't go around telling them "don't bother studying for your exams, its more important to attend a church party"
its really up to them to mange their own time. if they choose to forsake their studies because its more fun to be in church, its their folly, their mistake. they are the ones to be blamed. not the church.
i just don't see the church being an academic problem.
and i say this because i was from a church like that, and that's what i see. i on the other hand, made the mistake of not studying hard, and i did badly. that's all to it.
do you see me shooting the church? EVEN THOUGH I WAS DIRECTLY AFFECTED?
i knew the fault was my own. that's why.
