Not quite true. A Professional psychologist would have a psychology
masters degree. To get masters for this subj you MUST get honours.
Some of the job opportunity for non professional psychologist(no masters) is working for the police,or work in a ad company(not that pro psychologist dont do that but normally they would use their abilities for better purposes). For some people who dont get masters psychology degree, normally they would go for other routes, and use this psy knowledge as a bonus. Eg: my pupils' welfare teacher who has a psy degree.
To be a psychiatrist, you need to go for medicine, then specialise psych, which is like so very hard. And you can administer medicine.
