Amazingly, my gf (who is only 3 months with me at that time) says she will fight the disease together with me with God's help......
Partake in so many holy communion at New Creation Church and join in their healing services, still no healing.........................
"By his stripes we are healed!" no matter how many times the pastor say also not healed.....after that went to Lighthouse Evangelism (my doc who saw me from young to big was from there and he recommend me to go there) which satan "was rebuked".....but no matter how many times satan was rebuked the sickness is still there........... -

It wasn't any particular passage. I had read the new Testament from cover to end simply to show christians the inconsistencies in the bible. And it was in the midst of doing it one more time that it suddenly all in fell place in my mind and I was stunned myself. No. I don't think see anytime soon that I will convert away from Christianity. But, one can never be to sure. The truth is more important than my "religion".

While I've studied the bible and church history quite "detailed-ly" (for the lack of a better word), these are just icing on the cake.
I'd say my faith stems more from inside. A realisation? maybe. A conviction? maybe. I don't know what it is. It just completely makes sense. Almost innately.
It's hard to make sense of the Bible and the stories contained therein if you don't understand (metaphysical, maybe?) the very basics behind it all.
It's just hard to explain the reason I have the faith. For the lack of better terms, it's like a carving on the heart. I believe in God. And for the moment, it is Christianity that corresponds most closely to my (innate) understanding.
However, I don't leave it to that when it comes to discussion and debate about the Bible. I'd endeavour to explain the basics and take those who question through a discussion. I don't believe in telling people, "It is like that because the Bible says so", or because "I can feel it"
Frankly, for an unbelieving people, of what use is it that the Bible says so? Or what I feel?
Wouldn't it better that I explain the "misunderstood" verses and the premises from which they were derived. To show that they do indeed follow a logical course of thinking? Please note that I did not say I can prove God. Rather that, I can show that it is not illogical to believe. -

I think the difference lies in the grasp of the basic tenets of Christianity. Which do not make up many Christians. That should be of little surprise to you. I'm guessing you've had a fair share of Christians acquaintences that did little to show otherwise.
Bible Studies for me isn't about learning about Christianity. It's simply about knowing what's said in there.
The surprise of it all is that the brand of Christianity that I'm currently practising (Catholicism - Some would call me Charismatic Catholic or a Post-Vatican II Catholic. But I don't associate myself very much with groups) comes not from the Bible nor the Cathechism of the Catholic Church.
It comes purely from my reflection and meditation on the wonder of life. And "coincidentally" the conclusions I come to, I then find them in the Bible.
For the sake of putting it to the extreme, should the Bible one day be shown to be a farce, it changes not the idea of the Christian God I have.
Christianity is not a religion of a Book.
If we understand this last statement, then it becomes easier to understand that how "worse", to use your term it becomes the more we read depends entirely on how much we understand of the basic tenets of the faith. For words, and events can mean several things to several opinionated minds. But which opinion? Which translation? Which interpretation?
What I can do, is read, and trust me, I'm very critical, and then see if its reconcilable with the rest of the Bible. -

I instead enjoy a great discussion where we both in earnest discuss and try to understand, with as little bias as possible, each other. We question and explore. Only then, would it be easier to discern truth. And truth is more important than security.

When I first became Christian, I joined a Pentecostal Church. From there I proceeded to a Baptist (more like Charismatic, if you asked me) Church. And then after visiting several Churches, I decided to spend time with the non-denominational Campus Crusade parachurch org. Then I became Catholic.
I've had the good fortune to discuss at length (and would like to discuss once again) with the folks at the LDS (Mormon) Church about their beliefs. I've also had the opportunity to talk to several other smaller sects about their beliefs.
And I must add that they were very very interesting and enjoyable conversations. -
