I will never force my opinion and choices to someone else. All I can say is: I'd tried something, it's good. It's up to the individual to decide whether this thing is good for him or not.Originally posted by davidche:I try to do an analogy here.
If you dont think that yoga is good for you, you feel that you are wasting time doing it.
If you believe that Yoga is good for you, you dont see it as a waste of time.

Your friend has every right to choose whatever he wants, as long as he is happy with that choice.
Jesus told his disciples that when a town rejects their preaching, leave that town and shake the dust off their sandals. Jesus never told his disciples to convert regardless of....
The question is: did your friend stop being your friend once you know of his life choice?
i wrote this aboveOriginally posted by ben1xy:My own opinion is that, well yes. You can share your faith with him. We've all been commissioned. But do it in a non-intrusive manner. And if he doesn't accept, back off. If you keep pressing him, conversely, he will grow to dislike Christianity. We have got to learn to respect the choices of people and their freewill i guess.
Beyond that, live a life worthy of Christ and be a beacon of light that shines brightly for him. And when people see that, they might be drawn to the faith. I have known some people who converted. After a few months, the family sees the changes in the person... and because of that, they converted.
It's not an easy decision to decide on what actually is evangelisation. Personally, my gf and i have had numerous heated arguments on this issue. But my advise remains. In everything you do, reflect Christ
nope actually, because i know what will result in constant forceful preeching. Causing him to be severely against christianity. But what if he is already like me?
How to be a testimony of God? To be like jesus right? But how was Jesus like? what exactly are his qualities that is my qn.Originally posted by sillyme:And?
Have you been nagging at him? Or you made him think that life with a religion is boring?
You post this thread to ask for "answers" so as to convince him right?
We cannot give you the answers. The answer is with you. Have you been a good testimony of God?

He dare to do that, cause He knows what He is saying ... (added advantage, He also knows what they are thinking also )Originally posted by Icemoon:Jesus was a Jew. So He kept the laws of Hashem.
Hey .. you cannot be like Jesus you know? Jesus spoke with authority. He even dared to gan3 the religious leaders.
