My own opinion is that, well yes. You can share your faith with him. We've all been commissioned. But do it in a non-intrusive manner. And if he doesn't accept, back off. If you keep pressing him, conversely, he will grow to dislike Christianity. We have got to learn to respect the choices of people and their freewill i guess.
Beyond that, live a life worthy of Christ and be a beacon of light that shines brightly for him. And when people see that, they might be drawn to the faith. I have known some people who converted. After a few months, the family sees the changes in the person... and because of that, they converted.
It's not an easy decision to decide on what actually is evangelisation. Personally, my gf and i have had numerous heated arguments on this issue. But my advise remains. In everything you do, reflect Christ
