remember .. God does not take pride in numbers.

Why just rely on Dave? Sometimes, we may have to explore both human psyche and spritituality at the same time. But my idea on the topic is that the human mind hates ennui(boredom) hence it should be a multiple-goal orientated life. (Like the WWJD movement, understanding humanity,etc... all in together like rojak)Originally posted by Chin Eng:the purpose of this non-driven thread is to go OOT.
CE gives dave a day or two before closing this.
We hope that anyone who starts a thread will drive the discussion.Originally posted by Herzog_Zwei:Why just rely on Dave?
I would like to know your opinions on this book.Originally posted by sillyme:We hope that anyone who starts a thread will drive the discussion.
Hopefully, this can minimise the occurence of people from starting flame-baits. It will discourage people from starting controversial topics without the intent of having a cordial discussion. Or for people to start a thread and then "watch the fun".
We hope anyone who starts a thread be active in the discussion so that the topic has some direction.
Of course, should any thread go into free-for-all situation or it plods one without direction, that's where the mods will step in.
hmm.. I think as long as there is discussion a thread need not be closed, whether it goes OOT(out of topic i assume is what it means) or not.Originally posted by sillyme:We hope that anyone who starts a thread will drive the discussion.

God spoke to Moses in the Sinai Desert, in the Communion Tent on the first [day] of the second month in the second year of the Exodus, saying:So 'bemidbar' actually means desert or wilderness, not numbers.

yah .. what's so great about the book?Originally posted by davidche:I would like to know your opinions on this book.
if you ask for my comments. I bore off(correct usage??) reading after the 'half' of the book as i found this Rick Warren was only repeating his point again and again. Purpose of life is to live for God.
