Because Christianity has both OT and NT .. it is unfair to say I hold OT in higher regard.
The NT seems to bastardize the OT in many places. If you have time, go and do some research. It is really disheartening.

IMO i prefer the Islamic claims to the Jewish ones. At least Christ is protrayed as the Messiah and most beloved Messenger of God who came with the Gospels (which the Church corrupted).
