  God does not promise christians wealth , power, or fame. In fact he says the exact opposite. That we will suffer for his name, that we will be scorned by society and the people at large for his name. That we will face many tribulations for his sake. No where does he promise material wealth.
  
  Though we may not be rich materially, we are rich because our lives is a meaning and is a fruitful one. Money cannot make you happy, only you can choose to be happy by your actions and your take on life.
