Nowadays, teenagers go church to really praise god cuz they believe and love him or go there to socialise?
It seems more of socialising to me these days.....

Do you send your kids to school to learn or to socialise?
Similarly why do Christians go church if they can worship God at home (minus the sacraments).
I think Pastor Kong once gave a sermon (I was there), that we have to associate with the right people to succeed in life.
So what's so bad about socialising? -
Always go back to the essence of why Church exist. And the function that Christ and the Apostles intended.

to me, personal view, don't represent anyone else ....
going to church is for socialising
why???
to listen to sermon? can buy sermon tapes/cd, can download from the internet or listen online
to know more about God through Bible? can do Bible Study, read books (commentaries, apologetics ....etc)
to worship God? can worship at home also, listen to worship CDs, now there are even karaOK whorship CDs ...etc
sacrements? protestants also believe and practice the priesthood of every believers ...
prayers? can prayer in union with the HolySpirit in you also what, some more fortunate ones can also do it at home with family members ....
whatelse???? socialising loh ....
why???
to fellowship with other believers, to encourage one another, to minister to one another, to serve one another, to strengthen and build up one another or just to be there to provide a shoulder to lean on ... etc
this to me is why I go to church. -
