i feel so screwed up..
did something really dumb and stupid and condemable.
its been haunting me the entire day.. didnt even go to church today..
will god will forgive my sins?
i really swear not to do it again, please pray for me -

If u are Catholic, go for Confession and all will be forgiven.
If u are protestant, speak to ur pastor if u nid advice. If not atone for ur sins and repent.
If Christ could give Peter who denied him thrice, the charge to feed His sheeps, Christ can practically forgive anyone for any sins. -

you are young and will commit other sins later in life. this is just one of the many. it is not your first and wont be the last!!! -
I do swear that during Confession, the Priest has a larger than life image. I dont know...maybe its designed that way but a white room filled with a booming voice a priest haha.

Can someone help me understand penance? Is penance a human role in attaining forgiveness (cooperation with God) or merely a sign of repentance and doing good works? I think it gotta do with the priesthood power of retaining sins....but can someone explain it to me with clarity. -

well, firstly, Christ has died for all your sins, past, present and future.
there isn't any sins that you can commit that he didn't already know of, died for and forgiven for.
God loves u, to him, you're precious to him.
but u will still need to answer for things which you have done. say u've hurt someone, by not apologising doesn't make God love you any less.. but it'll still affect your life negatively.
if you've killed someone, well, you still hv to answer to the law, but God still loves you.
God's love don't change.. -

Its a small issue. It gives an explanation abt the binding and loosing bit in John but penance, nothing much. Im curious...
