Just finding more knowledge about Jesus when I stumbled on this website. The information seems legitimate and website, real.
Until I came upon this paragraph.Jesus is not the Father
Jesus is God himself right.... so I assume the validity of the website is void?
God's words show that Jesus was not an incarnation of the Father. If Jesus had been, then it would have been more accurate for God to say "This is an incarnation of myself. I am pleased with myself."

Campy, I suggest u attend classes in your own church regarding the trinity. Mebbe u can join those pre-baptism classes which gives u a study in Christology and other essential beliefs in Christianity.
My pre-baptism class helped me a lot. -

I have no problems with the Trinity. Im just asking abt the validity of the website. -

Monarchianism
This is also called Modalism or the Sabellian heresy. Noetus of Smyrna first proposed this doctrine at the end of the second century, beginning of the third century. Modalistic Monarchian doctrine was accepted and popularized by Sabellius at the beginning of the third century. Sabellius was excommunicated in Rome for this teaching. Modalism teaches that the Trinity is one God revealed in one person or mode. The Father is the Son, is the Holy Spirit. They are all different temporary modes of the same God. Modalism/Monarchian doctrine usually did not deny the deity of Christ; instead they claim that the Son is the Father, not the eternal Son as part of historic Christianity.
Many church fathers wrote detailed responses against this doctrine (as we saw in the previous section). One term coined for those who held this heresy was 'Patripassianists' because they taught that the Father suffered on the cross. Other sects teach that Jesus was only a man who received power from God. Noetus, Praxeas, and Sabellius were the prominent teachers of this heresy.
The church responds:
Tertullian criticized this view in his theological argument against Praxeas:
“We define that there are two, the Father and the Son, and three with the Holy Spirit, and this number is made by the pattern of salvation...[which] brings about unity in trinity, interrelating the three, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are of one substance and power, because there is one God from whom these degrees, forms and kinds devolve in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” (Against Praxeas p. 156-7). -

The best is to read the heresies regarding the Trinity. Read the history. Read the refutations by the church fathers. If you never study the history, you are doomed to repeat it. -

The things we were taught are very clear. They do not try to confuse us with Sabellianism and other heresies. I firmly believe before one is baptised he need to know what is essential. I think it is good to attend pre-baptism class at church. Looking forward to attend pre-marital course in church also. At least what we were taught will let us know what's orthodox and what's not and be able to stand firm as believers. -

The Father, The Son and The holy spirit are 3 different entities but are of the same essence.

I think technically the site is not wrong. Jesus is not the Father, but the Son. I think the site is trying to distinguish the God the Father and God the Son are two different Persons.
Just a side note, I read that Monarchianism and Modalism is not simliar. Though Modalism is a reconciliation of Monarchianism and Trinitarianism. -
