My only contribution was on the non-theological aspect. What has that to do with Protestant belief on communion, the theological aspect? -

Let me clarify Paul's warning that many christians choose to ignore and blindly perform the communion ritual. It is a relatively small matter to be harbour sinful desires in one's heart as these can be absolved by God. It is however a grave sin to harbour evil thoughts while handling what one claims to be the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Participating in the communion ritual doesn't make christians more holy. Christians that believe they are holier than someone who doesn't partake in the communion ritual are in essence being judged and condemned by God himself - as their false pretense of humility and holier than thou attitude descecrate the body and blood of Jesus Christ which they consume. This is a great sin.
Those who practise something which Jesus' never required in the first place are asking for unnecessary judgement by God upon themselves. -

Well .. Protestant view is just one way we can understand God and Scripture. I have Catholic and Jewish views too.
It is good to learn more, by reading, thinking and discussing, so that misconceptions can be reduced and the views do not get misrepresented. -

This is one of the reasons why I have great respect and love for God as he does not enjoy himself while his followers are suffering. Rather he shares our pain and suffers together with us. Only when we are in heaven with him will God break his fast and rejoice together with us in great celebration. -

Another thing. God's Kingdom has already come after Christ's death and resurrection. He may not have returned for His Second Coming, but His Kingship is over in every active believer. -
