Who are the "super apostles"?

I ought to have been commended by you, for I am not in the least inferior to the "super-apostles," even though I am nothing. 12The things that mark an apostle—signs, wonders and miracles—were done among you with great perseverance. 13How were you inferior to the other churches, except that I was never a burden to you? singapore has one, albeit self-proclaimed.....and funnily enough he has 12 male 'disciples' and his wife also has 12 female ones.....vanity of vanities...i guess title does matter to some men of the cloth...

btw Pastor Lawrence Khong was Senior Pastor of FCBC for many years , the amateur magician acts was just an evangelism tools used by him.

the magic act i can accept. as a young fervent christian i brought friends to watch such evangelistic programme. but when you decided that you've become bigger than life and confer on yourself as an apostle to bask in your own glory...it's all vanity...these are part of the reasons why i no longer subscribe to the christian faith...Originally posted by vince69:ok ok ... you are refering to the G12 model of discipleship.

I am not from FCBC, attended it twice, saw that Pastor Khong twice and yes I heard them calling him Apostle in recent times.
BUT SERIOUSLY, why do people always blame others, be it another believer, be it another pastor, be it on conflicts, be it this and that, when they decided not to believe in God? Why is it always other people or other things fault EXCEPT themselves when they do not believe in God anymore? Stop finding excuses, there are no barriers to believing and your faith in God. God did not move. You did and if anyone is at fault, it is your own bloody fault. Dun blame what goes on in other people's lives or churches or whatever. -

another 'big time' pastor found the need to draw a $60k monthly pay is also beyond me.....is this what performance bonus is all about? pegging pay to 'revenue'?

Pastor Lawrence Kong apostleship is not self proclaimed. Pastor Lawrence Khong was commissioned as an Apostle by Dr Peter Wagner of the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA).
