Anybody from Living Faith Church?

It's so annoying to receive smses from those people..
I thought I am the first owner of this number..
Every morning will receive one sms.
Today lagi worse, smes from 3 different senders!
I smsed back and ask them not to send me anymore sms coz im not the intended recipient, but I receive more after that!
I wonder how would they feel if they receive Taoist/Buddhist teachings smses everyday. -

The best is go to telco and find out if the number is recycled. -

And get them to delete your contacts off from their list.
It'll be much effective to get M1 to do it though.

I juz called up M1 leh.
The customer service officer told me my number is Brand New leh.
I am the first subscriber of this number.
I gave her the hp numbers that I received smses from and she will get back to me after investigation. -
Agreed to both M© and Ah Lau on how to deal with this situation. Though I dunno how to help you find what you want.

but then M1 told me my number is brand new leh...

I duno how MSP work in cases like this..
but I was told that Starhub would only bar number if there's a police report.
the M1 Customer Service Officer asked me did i receive more than 5 smses from the same number for the past 2 weeks.
I told her I only got this number last Thur.. and I have been receiving such smses since then.
I even gave her the Church name.
Well, M1 really provides good customer service leh.. I waited for about a minute only and I was greeted by my surname. Starhub still have to press this, press that, enter hp number, ic number etc.. by the time i get to speak to the cust svc officer, me already getting impatient. -

After you have let the sender know that you do not want to receive these SMSes, the next best thing to wait.
If they still persist in sending, contact the church. They may be able to clarify if they had authorised these SMSes or that if the sender was really a member of the church. They will also be able to take appropriate action.
If all else fail, then make a police report. -

I juz called M1 again.
the cust svc operator encouraged me to either call up the church and clarify with them or make a police report and they will give them a warning letter.
till today, i have received smses from 7 numbers!
i juz called up the church and someone by the name of 'Sheryl' spoken to me. She din even dare to spell her name to me. I told her I have been receiving all these smses and I feel very disturbed.
She said they send out 3000+ smses everyday, somebody must have given them my number. She tried to delete my number from their database, but failed. I warned her that I'm going to lodge a police report if I still receive these smses next week. She said those smses are sent out to bless people, I dun have to get so uptight. Hello, i din ask for those smses! I dun need such blessings when i dun even believe in Jesus. (Sorry, no offence to all christians here. I had a terrible experience at a church years ago that made me refuse to have any contact with christianity.)
She can't give me a good explanation, she said there's no way to check who gave them my number, and they could only check by name and I had to give her my full name.
Ridiculous, she even said it's late, she's going home. Ask me to wait for another week and see whether I receive such smses. Machiam i owe her like that. I'm so pissed off!
There's a limit to my patience. I will give them a deadline up to Wednesday 3.1.07. If I still receive such smses on Thursday, then they better be prepared to receive a warning letter from the police.
