Are we winning or losing pple for Christ?

This kind of thread makes me wonder as Christians are we winning or losing pple for Christ.
Pple are indeed souless nowadays. The "fast food" mentality of pple in society nowadays is moving our faith in the wrong direction. Faith is something that cannot be gained by curing backaches or stiff necks. Even believers like me find it hard to believe in pastors curing a backache or a stiff neck, how do unbelievers view our faith then?
My questions are:
1) Do away with all these mumbo jumbo, will believers still be believers?
2) Do believers have the courage to speak against theology that is unsound?
3) Do believers have the courage to stand firm their ground and not just utter nice sweet things just to attract pple to the faith?
Our faith should never be made into something like a showcase or depend on "miracles". Our faith should never be used for commercial or personal gains. -

2.if they dont even know the 'sound' theologys, if they arent familiar about the bible, would they know what is unsound? Thus, i think it is good for believers like me to buck up on those.

these two groups are all accommodated. But when the two are mixed up together, disputes start.
CHC is more for the emotional minded. A person, scholar for eg, who desires evidences wouldnt like to go to that sort of place. He should go for Stephen Tong's sermons.....just like the TS
They ramble ceaselessly about very ambiguous things regarding God, life, brotherhood and an inherent obligation to atone for our sins which Jesus died for, but when I start to challenge them to a debate on religion, they cannot even answer me -

Yes, people may be getting smarter, but society is going downhill. At the same time, we believe we're the best. But what if we aren't? Though scientific theories may lead us to believing that God does not exist, what if they're wrong? What if every theory you believed in was shattered to the ground? Christianity does not believe in hatred. In fact, it believes in the complete opposite -- Love. Sacrificial love, even =). Though some things may not seem possible to us currently, our knowledge is limited, while God is omnipotent, and has a purpose for everyone in this world. Yes, people are getting smarter, scientifically, mathematically, etc. But perhaps, this "smartness" that has developed over time has caused them -- us -- to believe that we are indispensible. That we can handle life on our own. But no amount of knowledge can save us from death. No amount of knowledge can solve this world's problems. No amount of knowledge can give you inner peace. After all, Karl Marx did say that religion is the opium of the people. Hence, one would naturally expect religion, such as Christianity, to be more popular in times of trouble rather than prosperity.

We all have free will to make our choices , good or bad, and we are responsible for the choices we make. That is our gift.
As for other religions , I prefer it if Christians will respect and be mindful of other parties before trying to recruit them - all major religions are to be respected . I know someone who was aggressively recruiting was saying that it is the duty of all christians to spread the good word and convert others from the demonic ways. I don't think telling people they are worshipping a "demon" helps in them converting to christianity.
It is by action that you set a good example so that people will come by their free will and be interested in Christianity as a whole because you are a good person. Have a friend who converted to Catholicism by her own will because she thought that the nuns who taught her in school are very good people. I asked her if they sort of pressured her. She said no . They respect her former religion (Buddhism) and she found it fascinating.
