Animal Offerings

A lot of verses in the bible states about sacrifice to God on His altar etc etc....
There is one verse which i forgot the chapter
states that God is angry because He was given a crippled animal as an offerings. And He denied the offerings asking the priest? whether they would give the crippled animal to their governor? Something like that..
Is this not practiced anymore or is it forbidden? Did God say stop giving offerings to Him anymore?

I think it is written somewhere when the Temple is rebuilt (when the Messiah appears), sacrifice will re-continue. -
