He admitted already? The last interview i saw was that he said he made those remarks because he was drunkOriginally posted by kaister:It's only a movie... how many times do you see such things happening in life?
And Mel Gibson is a fanatic. He already admitted that he hates Jews.
Not officially. But think about this: would you go around claiming you don't like other races when you're drunk?Originally posted by laurence82:He admitted already? The last interview i saw was that he said he made those remarks because he was drunk
hey is the email your msn??Originally posted by laurence82:Mel Gibson recently got arrested for making anti-Semitics remarks
I think he let the cat out of the bag and going to plead DWI
Like the phrase what u think during the day you dream at night?Originally posted by kaister:Not officially. But think about this: would you go around claiming you don't like other races when you're drunk?
Alcohol inhibited his conscious control over his speech and he blabbered out whatever he thinks. If he never thought negatively of Jews, he wouldn't have said that. Look at his Passion of Christ as well... the movie portrays Jews in bad light.
aka Freudian slip if one's not drunk.Originally posted by laurence82:Like the phrase what u think during the day you dream at night?
Not sure if alcohol works that way though
I laugh and talk lots when i get intoxicated by alcohol.Originally posted by kaister:aka Freudian slip if one's not drunk.
Alcohol can inhibit conscious control. That's why we see aggressive behaviour in drunk people sometimes. The same effect can be seen in people who suddenly breaks down into tears when they're drunk.
They've lost their conscious control over their emotions and actions under the influence of alcohol.
Ever wondered why some people talked more when they drink? Ya, same theory.
True about loss of control over emotions, but speaking their heart out?Originally posted by kaister:aka Freudian slip if one's not drunk.

We can just use a bit of common sense. When I'm drunk, I don't go around telling people I hate Chinese cos' I don't have that thought in my mind (I used Chinese cos' I can't be self-racist... heehee)Originally posted by laurence82:True about loss of control over emotions, but speaking their heart out?
i am not sure, i think this area is as fuzzy as inventing a 100% foolproof lie detector
Again, this method is not 100% foolproof, but then again, looking at his movies, i'll stick with the idea he is anti-SemiticOriginally posted by kaister:We can just use a bit of common sense. Similarly, you won't say things you've never thought about even if you're dead drunk. True? He must have some hatred for Jews or he wouldn't have said those stuff.

how does Passion of Christ portray Jews in a bad light when the New Testament itself indeed portrays Jews in a bad light?Originally posted by kaister:If he never thought negatively of Jews, he wouldn't have said that. Look at his Passion of Christ as well... the movie portrays Jews in bad light.
I think there's plenty of ways to shoot the movie but Mel Gibson chose to do it in a way that it looks upon Jews as very bad people.Originally posted by Icemoon:how does Passion of Christ portray Jews in a bad light when the New Testament itself indeed portrays Jews in a bad light?
I give Mel Gibson credit for shooting the extra-biblical scene no doubt from his Catholic tradition .. heeheeOriginally posted by kaister:I think there's plenty of ways to shoot the movie but Mel Gibson chose to do it in a way that it looks upon Jews as very bad people.
Maybe it's for dramatic effect, I would never know.
Here's the thing I don't understand. When did the New Testament portrays Jews in a bad light? The first christians were Jews, am I not right?
i think somebody post a sypnosis and tell us why its also good for atheistsOriginally posted by kaister:Good info!
Why are we talking about Passion when this thread is about signs?
