Soul = This is refering to the intellecture/emotional part of the human (anyone want to dispute on this?), some also refer to this as the human conscience.
Spirit = This is the eternal and spiritual part of the body, while most agree that the first 2 (Body and Soul) are temporal such that it will be gone once the person died, some argued that the Spirit will continue to exist after death.
*non-christian context
For instance, if someone talks about "afterdeath experience" (a subject I am not too keen on), they are actually saying their spirit left their body, others when refering to the ghost of the deceased, they are talking about the spirit.

To a christian, this will be the one that will be in communion with the Spirit of God (aka Holy Spirit).
I believe your question regarding to the human soul is actually refering to the human spirit and not the soul (as discribed above), pls correct me if I am incorrect with my assumption. -

anyway, those who wanna discuss, i would to open invitations to discuss face to face, not just in forums. Face to face does not mean all questions can be answered but i feel more sincerity in discussing it in person. Maybe I am not qualified but any of you sincere to meet up, I can arrange pastors, bible school students or teachers for discussion. -

not really into ghost, just that in some culture, the word "ghost" is being used to describe what we termed as "spirit", just like in some beliefs/religion, the word "soul" is being used instead.

The biggest question an atheist need to answer is NOT whether CHRISTIANITY IS REAL OR NOT, but whether there is the supernatural.
If the answer is NO, then an atheist will need to confront the greater issue of people who has experience the supernatural which still can't be proven by the greatest of all scientists. If the answer is YES, then why isn't there a possibility of the Christian God... or at least a God.
.... then real question to the "atheists" here in EH, are you REALLY REALLY atheists, or are you just anti-Christian?
