1. God created the world in 6 days, on the 7th He rested. Creation of Adam was on the 6th day. Plants were created before the 6th day.Originally posted by freestyle:okay got a few questions. doubt they can be answered but will still ask anyways.
1) What was god doing before he created the world and adam and eve? As in what was there? did he create the planets b4 or after or adam and eve as i dont remember it being stated in the bible or maybe ive nt been reading. =x
2) If god was almighty and his powers were limitless, why did god still create adam and eve when he knew they were gonna sin and why does he wants to experience everything in slow motion as in our current actions, when he knows the outcome of everything. What is the point?
Anybody who can answer , do answer. Thanks andd I have more questions , but i cant remember them right now. Will post when i can remember.

5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of humankind was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. 6And the Lord was sorry that he had made humankind on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. 7So the Lord said, ‘I will blot out from the earth the human beings I have created—people together with animals and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.’I hope the threadstarter can digest this chunk first.

If god was almighty and his powers were limitless, why did god still create adam and eve when he knew they were gonna sinmaybe you shld lenghten your question further cos i dont fully understand.
and why does he wants to experience everything in slow motion as in our current actions, when he knows the outcome of everything. What is the point? You mean he is experiencing all of the current actions in slow motion??
Its not plants, its PLANETS like venus mars jupiter etc. The bible didnt mention much about space.Originally posted by Icemoon:1. God created the world in 6 days, on the 7th He rested. Creation of Adam was on the 6th day. Plants were created before the 6th day.
So if he knows the outcome , what is he doing now? He's watching over us from heaven as we slowly proceed with our everyday lives which god knows every of our next step. so whats the point of watching us doing all this when he already knows what we are gonna do. is it slightly clearer?Originally posted by davidche:God knows the outcome and is not experienceing current actions in slow motion. We r, not him!
does thes counts? the creation of the sun, moon, and stars (I am assuming these includes the planets as well)Originally posted by freestyle:Its not plants, its PLANETS like venus mars jupiter etc. The bible didnt mention much about space.
Genesis 1:14-19
14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
Do you mean since God knows the outcome, y bother to wait and watch us proceed from heaven?Originally posted by freestyle:So if he knows the outcome , what is he doing now? nt really. but thanks buddy. i've learned to live with the explanation of "It is beyond human intellect to understand. Just like if u bring a fish out of the water, it will not understand anything totally for it has been living in the water all its lives."Originally posted by davidche:Do you mean since God knows the outcome, y bother to wait and watch us proceed from heaven?
Lets analyse first. so its this timeline that you re talking about. Why is God waiting as we proceed thru this time line, when he already knows the result(end of timeline).
Explaination
God isnt limited by time. He doesnt need to 'wait' as we proceed.
*If he doesnt 'wait', i dunno wad he does, cos im limited by time. No word on earth can explain wad is the so called substance that is beyond time.
get it?
peace, as always
