So Christians need not feel too sad if persecution happens bcos then they are really accounted worthy to suffer for Jesus. Of course, we must not do wrong things ourselves as Peter(or is it Paul?) said we are not to suffer for doing evil things but to suffer for doing good.

1. Jesus is without sin because, first and foremost, he was born through Virgin birth. Why virgin birth and not drop from the sky? Because the prophecy that the Messiah will come from the House of David, Tribe of Judah, must be fulfilled. In fact, both his mother and father came from David .. so there is guarantee plus chop.

How to compare Jesus and Adam? One is God/Son of God, and the other is supposedly a human who is created in image of God but can/cannot die.

2. Jesus Christ came down as flesh for the salvation of mankind. In other words, He is 100% man. He can be tempted. (or else you think satan so stupid go and tempt someone who cannot be tempted?)
3. And the most important point of all - Jesus succeeded where Adam failed.
If we go into Catholic theology, it is even more interesting. They have this belief that Mother Mary is without sin!
Note:
Adam sinned .. Jesus no sins.
Eve sinned .. Mary no sins.
Got pattern one!

I'm not sure whether Christians have thought of this question (the pros like Ironside probably did):
God revealed His plan for salvation very early on. In Genesis 49:10:The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and to him shall the people be obedient.
Since the origin of the Messiah (from Judah) is no open secret (satan can read Hebrew at least) .. how do you think satan tried to thwart the plan of God?
The Herbew: Lo-yasur shevet miyhudah, umechokek miben raglaw; ad ki-yavo shiloh, welo yikhat amim.

the answer is most probably yes, and its not the first time he did this kind of 'stupid' thing, he did tried to rebel against God (with the aim to take over), didn't he? -

2. If angels cannot be destroyed, then satan knows he won't be destroyed.
3. God plays by the rules, at least in Job. God didn't imprison satan when the latter bua long long stroll to the heavenly court and challenge God.
