If you are christian who truely understands GOD. You would go there to glorify HIM and spend quality time with fellow christians and learn more about him. We have seven days in a week, yet Sunday/Saturday church service is the only time (2++ hrs compared to the 120 hrs a week) for fellow Christians to gather together and praise HIM. Worship HIM. we are to use our spiritual gifts to minister to fellow Christians. 1 Corin. 12.
We are there to be ministered to and grow in the faith. we grow through fellowship. There is no such thing as a lone ranger christian.
Eph 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part [every member] does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Are you a christian my friend? Church will be meaningful if you repent and trust in Christ alone for salvation. You can give and share your spiritual gifts, time, self and life to fellow souls redeemed by Christ. There is joy in ministering and being ministered to, besideds God being glorified. -

The church as a whole followed, like blind sheep, the instructions in the Bible without any sense of self-preservation.
The only ones that are sinning and sinful are the ones who go to church. -
