Verse 32 of John 9 is interesting - Never since the world began has it been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind.
So my question is .. is John 9 the first case of the 'blind can see'?
Granted an earlier case does not invalidate Scripture 'cos he was careful to add "has it been heard" and "a person born blind".
These things [John 9] happened after John the Baptist was beheaded. This is not the first miracle of the blind being able to see by the power of the Lord Jesus. For when John the Baptist was still alive these took place:
Lu 7:22 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard:
that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.
The story is very profitable though. Jesus can make the man see the light after years of physical darkness. Jesus can do it too in the spiritual realm. He is the one who gives light to our spiritual darkness.
