Do you think King David is saved?

  It has been shown rather conclusively that none of the apostles believed in the correct Jesus before his resurrection. Even the apostle Peter did not think Jesus is God.
  
  So it is quite meaningless to say the prophets believed in Jesus.
  
  What exactly is this belief? Furthermore did God reveal the correct Jesus to all the prophets?
