Satan is the one who had nothing better to do not God. He was the highest archangel but wanted to be God so rebelled with 1/3 of angels who became demons. If satan hadnt rebelled, everything would be perfect. No tempting of Eve. No fall. So the very prob lies with satan. God is going to judge him one day. I hope the rest of humans dont follow him to hell.

God created satan good. His original name was lucifer which is light bearer. He chose to rebel vs God. God did not create evil. God created everything. He created evil. Satan choose to do evil becos it exists and can be done.In another words, if satan choose to sin, there must be a sin to be choosen.

God said that all his creations r good....y? Becos in order for humans to also be a 'good' creation, it has to have free will. If there was no evil in the world, Humans will be perfect they wont and cant sin ,but they will be like robots and this is not the 'good' that God wants.

The only sin is not to obey God & worship God. All sins derive from that. I dont think God created evil bcos then demons & men are not to blame for their sins. Bcos God created them evil. Precisely. God didnt create automatons. But why choose the devil when God is the only true God & Jesus is the only true Saviour? Can one blame God if one chooses not to obey or listen by exercising like what u said our free will to the fullest? -

If god did not create evil, then who create evil ? In th beginning the fruit is call knowledge of good and evil. Evil is already present then. Tis again contradict the reply above. If we only worship and obey god as suggested above, then we r automations according to the reply here. If god want men to be like tat, he can simply flick a finger and given his omnipotency, men become the form he want. However then u say god did not want men to be automation, and not worship and obey continuously, which create sin, and then punish us for the sin. the thought of St Ausustine just popped into my head. Anyway, St Augutine posits that Evil is not present but rather, it is the lack of goodness that causes evil. what do u all think abt this theory? -

let me try to my very best to recall wad he said in his confessions. He was questioning where evil came from if God made all things and because he was good al things were good. He went on to posit that there was a privition of good, and that evil was a non-being. Think abt it this way, like dark is not darkness but a lack of light. Hmm, let's try a philosophical approach then, let's go back to the concept of free will. in that in creating the world, God allows the world to be itself but having the independance or the freedom that was the result of the love of God? this would explain why natural disasters happen. I think i am driving somehwere towards the chaos theory though not exactly there.. but that God is in control of the world, not in minute details but more of maintaining the order of going of events. Erm... infinite possibilities through abitrary events but yet, an assurance of development. i hope i am not getting too confusing
There is like this precariousness. but there is advancement, but the precariousness causes a movement towards a controlled unknown. and this precariousness and unknown is where the evil sprouted from?
