I think icemoon make a good reply It is no secret tat jesus has been communicating with god throughout the NT.
Mark1
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."
Now pray tell me. How can Jesus and god be one ? If he is, then god must be mad to say he is his own son ? If u say Jesus is a "second godhead" of the trinity, then is obviously shown tat trinity made of 3 types of "godhead" but they r not the same. U need to know the meaning of "same". They must have completely no difference at all. If there is a difference, no matter how slight, then they r not the same and one One a father and one a son is already a good sign to show they r not the same
So Jesus didn't pray in line with His Father's will?Originally posted by Icemoon:yes. so you have helped me ans Brey's question - Jesus indeed thought and acted separately from the Father.
He didn't obviously.Originally posted by SocialOutcast:So Jesus didn't pray in line with His Father's will?
never in the Christian Theology did they teach that the Trinity are 3 Persons mixed together. They are 3 distinct Persons yet Co-Substantial, Co-eternally God.Originally posted by Icemoon:yes. so you have helped me ans Brey's question - Jesus indeed thought and acted separately from the Father.
You just made matters worse.Originally posted by NT2:never in the Christian Theology did they teach that the Trinity are 3 Persons mixed together. They are 3 distinct Persons yet Co-Substantial, Co-eternally God.
The Trinity is "three Persons of one substance, power, and eternity
never in the Christian Theology did they teach that the Trinity are 3 Persons mixed together. They are 3 distinct Persons yet Co-Substantial, Co-eternally God.So there r 3 gods or 1 god ? From the way the replies r written, it just led me to believe there r 3 gods who r equally powerful. I am pretty sure people know the most basic rule of mathematics. That is 1=1, 3=3 and 1!=3. So how many god r there ?
as usual, u r not jus intellectually stupid....spiritual undiscerning as well.Originally posted by stupidissmart:So there r 3 gods or 1 god ? If u ask me, there is one logical answer for tis If god has schizo, and he thought he is 3 people instead of 1, then the idea of the trinity made sense. Another possibility is he roleplay the whole show about jesus acting as both jesus and god. Otherwise trinity doesn't make sense and god is, well god. Son is not god, possibly just more powerful than the average angel and holy spirits r not god but mere servant to it.
i already phrased it earlier and i do not intend to convince u.Originally posted by stupidissmart:why don't u pharse in your own word wat u understand about the trinity ?
They are 3 distinct Persons yet Co-Substantial, Co-eternally God.And your answer is still suggesting 3=1, which defies basic logic
i drink 3 in 1 kopi last time...logical to me because i too lazy to mess around with coffee powder, then sugar, then milk.Originally posted by stupidissmart:so your answer is
And your answer is still suggesting 3=1, which defies basic logic
never in the Christian Theology did they teach that the Trinity are 3 Persons mixed togetherNow u r suggesting god is a mixed up of 3 people like 3 in 1 coffee ? Furthermore 3 in one coffee contain 3 different ingredient, coffee, milk and sugar. Nobody claims 3 in 1 coffee is 1 substance
nope not suggesting, i'm talking about coffee drinking on the same platform as how you would define "logical". Because to me, your so called logic belongs to your own creation. Not God's.Originally posted by stupidissmart:Now u r suggesting god is a mixed up of 3 people like 3 in 1 coffee ? Furthermore 3 in one coffee contain 3 different ingredient, coffee, milk and sugar. Jesus said "I am the truth, the way, and the life".Originally posted by valentinoo:A Muslim is some one who Submits Their Will to God. This Is What Jesus Did and Taught.
Jesus taught to rinse before Praying as Muslims do {John 13:10}
Jesus bowed down in Submission on the Ground to God as Muslims do {Matthew 26:39}
Jesus said, all of You who Submit your will to God, are my true Brothers and Sisters (Mark 3:31-35) as Muslims do
Jesus taught Salvation comes from Submitting your will to God and Faith as Muslims do .
Actually, there is. Theres a famous Muslim saint who was executed by the fanatics for blasphemy after saying, "I am Truth" which implies very hugely "I am God" in Islam. That was in a state of divine union or annihilation where no reality exists except divinity, which runs contrary to some religious law - supposedly reserved only for prophets.Originally posted by Icemoon:Jesus said "I am the truth, the way, and the life".
Muslims got or not?
Hi gauze, that's really interesting. anyway, juz 1 quick question from me. in this verse John 6:51Originally posted by Gauze:Valentinoo, so uncalled.

For Muslims, I think we agree thats how we regard those sayings of Jesus as. He is one with God. Manifesting God through himself, uh, not.. uhm.. God himself. Something like that.
Maybe thats where the Christian and Muslim cant reconcile. But I hope you can understand the posture more.
It is good that Muslim brethens care to take part in the discussion.Originally posted by Gauze:Valentinoo, so uncalled.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
u reckon it's the same scenario that u mentioned above?
anyway, my apologies as i know it isn't fair to ask u abt Biblical quotes. but i would like to see things from ur perspective on this issue.
thks!
Heya too ben1xy. I feel its irrelevant wether its literal or allegorical now. Because any type bread from God which you've eaten should have transformed you into a generally good and happy person, owing to the life nourishing, heavenly, quality.Originally posted by ben1xy:Hi gauze, that's really interesting. anyway, juz 1 quick question from me. in this verse John 6:51

Yes, we understand where you are coming from. Shady also thinks like that .. haha
opps .. I forgot it is Isa, not Iseus. I remember it starts with an 'I'. Iesus is the latin name for Jesus.Originally posted by Gauze:Thanks also, for the welcome. Its Injeel/Injil of Isa. WHOZA THE REAL SLIM SHADY?!
