nope u're rightOriginally posted by laurence82:btw, i read about the long standing myth abt adam from this book - things you thought you thought you knew
heehee
it says adam ate the fruit from tree of knowledge, but he was banished lest he also take the fruit from the tree of immortality, eat and lives forever
am i wrong on this part?
there's really very scant mentioned of dinosaurs in the bible. depending on how people argue, i vaguely remember that i think there was this beast bohemoth which people thought was a dinosaur? also thos that subscribe to the young world theory would advocate that dinosaurs didn't roam the earth millions of yrs back but rather only thousands. and they also question the validity of carbon dating, though i would take this with a pinch of saltOriginally posted by whereismyrib:Can you explain on this part? For starters, we need to understand the definition of "death". Is it physical "death" we are talking about here? Obviously not, nothing last for ever, and depending on the genetical make-up, the only issue is the time. Some things live longer, others shorter.Originally posted by ben1xy:a question to the EH forumers.
we are all familiar with the creation story, how everything was made good, etc. But because of the fall of Adam came original sin. and the wages of sin is death.
so why must animals die then? they committed no sin and beore the sin of adam everything was supposed to be good wasn't it?
why animals dying is bad? Science tells us they provide fertilizers for living things when they die.Originally posted by ben1xy:so why must animals die then? they committed no sin and beore the sin of adam everything was supposed to be good wasn't it?
fair enough. sounds logicalOriginally posted by Icemoon:why animals dying is bad? Science tells us they provide fertilizers for living things when they die.
It is all a cycle.

So if we are not talking about physical death, then we can suppose that "death" here is spiritual. The eternal separation from God.
