Of coz I believe in my own what....so who are u to say mine is wrong?Originally posted by casino_king:you don't get anything one do you? You do not believe anybody's experience, you believe your own... get your own experience.
Read about all the wonderful experiences that people tell you and the wonderful experiences people had with God in the bible.
If you do not have them then continue to ask, seek and knock.
Don't compromise and live a half baked existence chasing after prosperity.
Start with no condemnation of anybody... only then will you understand that God does not condemn you. Only then can you come to God.
You have a long journey ahead of you... until you are able to look at the prostitutes walking along Geylang with no hint of condemnation in your heart...

if you look at prostitutes, your mind and heart thinking of different thing liao. where got time to condemn them?
You see that prostitutes have friends too. Can you ever be friends with a prostitute? Can you ever be friends with a homosexual? If you find it uncomfortable, impossible... there are seeds of condemnation in your heart (aside from you have no time... they are not your type and so on.)Originally posted by Icemoon:you act blur ah?

Matthew 7 WEB
1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?
If you judge, whom do you think judges you back?
I think it is natural to feel uncomfortable. You need not condemn them to feel uncomfortable. they call this homophobia right?Originally posted by casino_king:You see that prostitutes have friends too. Can you ever be friends with a prostitute? But if someone tells you "I am a prostitute;" "I am a homosexual;" do you then in your head decide that this person is to be avoided at all costs?

10 Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, "Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?"
11 She said, "No one, Lord." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more."
Do you think that if she continues to sin Jesus will turn around and say: "I told you to go and sin no more, why did you not obey me? Now I have no choice but to stone you?"
Or will Jesus say again and again, "Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more?"
Right or wrong is a decision up to the prostitutes to make... not you or I. As far as I know, Jesus did not condemn the prostitute.Originally posted by davidche:CK, let me ask you this,...r being prostitudes wrong? and plz don beat the bush answer yes or no wld be fine
Come to think of it, its really the easiest job to take...high income, no cost at all(if you take note of safety)
Judge you for all your other sins?Originally posted by Icemoon:but if you are not a prostitute or homosexual yourself .. no one can judge you back.
You feel uncomfortable because of what? That is the key.Originally posted by Icemoon:I think it is natural to feel uncomfortable. You need not condemn them to feel uncomfortable. they call this homophobia right?

Matthew 7 WEBOriginally posted by casino_king:Judge you for all your other sins?
Not for you to judge. For all have sinned... in that way, you simply do not look at people's sin anymore. It is a given. What is required is acceptance, not condemnation. Sin has consequences, the wages of sin is death. The solution is not to become sinless, that is impossible. The solution is the transformation from "bad" to "good" and only God can do that. Nothing you can do and nothing for you to judge.Originally posted by Icemoon:But Jesus ming2 ming2 que4 que4 said it was a SIN.
how can a sin be right?
You see verse 3? "Speck" and "log?" Clearly not the same. In fact, having a spirit of condemnation is the "log" and other's "sins" are simply "specks."Originally posted by Icemoon:Matthew 7 WEB

But the verses do not imply other sins. It is quite clear they are talking about the same sin, especially 2.

You are making no sense. If your reasoning is correct, how come the Apostle Paul seem to damn everyone?Originally posted by casino_king:You see verse 3? "Speck" and "log?" Clearly not the same. In fact, having a spirit of condemnation is the "log" and other's "sins" are simply "specks."
I did clarify that you might not want to be their friends if they are not your type and if you are not free to have anymore friends... and only if you free uncomfortable with gays and pros because you think that they are sinners, then there is a seed of condemnation in your heart. That seed is what is stopping you from becoming born again. You condemn others, the condemnation falls right back on you.Originally posted by Icemoon:There are many reasons to make you feel uncomfortable. For example,
Like zha bor may feel uncomfortable with her guy friend in a room (gu nan gua nu gong chu yi shi), I may also feel uncomfortable with a gay inside a room.

How can Paul be condenming them when:Originally posted by Icemoon:1Cor 6:
Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, 10thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And this is what some of you used to be. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
