Petition to the government of Singapore!

I urge the govt to ban the Da Vinci Code from being shown on the screens here bcos it will disrupt the religious harmony & harm religious sensitivities here. Christians will be subjected to ridicule, intolerance & greater persecution. People will get the wrong ideas about Christianity & start to question the validity of the Christian religion which tantamounts to saying Christianity is fake & Christians are liars. Life will be made very difficult for Christians in Singapore, as we will become the laughing stock of the town.
So i urge the govt to carefully consider the sensitivities of Christians here & how this "scandalous fictional" film will affect our lives. If the govt insists on allowing this film into Singapore, they should be prepared for the backlash in society & disharmony resulting from this. I sincerely urge the govt to ban it outright due to the RHA to maintain religious harmony.

Personally, i am concern as to why Christians are not able to take challenges. Each time a programme gets aired that does not the tenets of Christian doctrines, someone will always call for a ban. Why? Is our faith so weak or our beliefs so thin that we are unable to withstand such attacks?
I am looking forward to the movie, and so are my boys! I gives me the opportunity to explain to them how some writers will invent tales for the sake of fame and money. -

Separation of Church and State.Just because other religions choose to mix the two, we should know better.
Faith and doctrine are bound by our strong beliefs in Him.We all have a different, uniquely personal path and bond with Him, and how He is shown in our lives.
It's just a movie...You have a choice not to watch it. -

How do people differentiate Fictions from Facts? Should we stops people from knowing the fictions? will this really stops people from being mislead?
Personally this is how I feel, by imposing a ban on the fictional stuff just because of the fear of others being mislead is not the right way to go.
What I feel personally should be doing is to concentrate our effort in showing others what is the truth about the Bible, and let this truth sets people free.

Man, I am quite neutral about this. I know that Da Vinci code is very controversial and certain christian groups hated it.
Let's look at this from a logical point of thinking, walk around, do you see all those da vinic posters everywhere? Look at internet, tv, mrt... Do you think they spent all those big money to market the movie and create the hype and will let you stop the movie from airing? It's pretty unlikely and if you can do that, I really wu ti tou di. In fact I want to meet you and treat you to high class dinner at any place of your choice. But you will invite the wrath of thousands of people who are heavily anticipating and waiting for the opening of the movie woh.

Go have a look at it! It's specially for christians who find it a great challenge talking to other non-believers about the deifference between the DaVinci Code and the Bible. -
