ROME — A Vatican official reportedly called for a boycott of the upcoming "The Da Vinci Code" film Friday, saying it contained "slanderous" offenses against Christianity that would have provoked a worldwide revolt had they been directed against Islam or the Holocaust.

I don't understand, when people produce pictures of the Prophet, the Muslims are all in uproar.
When people produce lies of Jesus, why can't we be in uproar? -

because we as followers of Christ are different, and we should love others as God loves us. We should not be in uproar, as doing that would be counterproductive. 1/3 of the worlds pop is christian, so by just numbers, christianity is already overpowering -
i recently downloaded documentaries of angels and demons, da vinci code, and cracking the da vinci code.. very nice history channel programmes i must say.

Anyway, the boycott of DVC should stem from one's free will, not some high-up decree from the Papacy. -
I just feel the anti Christian sentiment will subtly & slowly grow in magnitude as the last days proceed with all the apostasy coming in. Even some Christians will begin to doubt their faith, whether Christ Jesus was real or whether there was a cover up or whether the bible was real or not.
Just my humble opinion. -
