I am a Christian who follow Christ.
Christ came for the sinners and not the righteous and I am a sinner who need Christ.
My only salvation is by believing in Christ and what Christ did on the cross for us.
The law and works won't save me, but god's undeserving grace for me will.
My salvation is guaranteed by Christ's perfect work on the cross and my sins, past, present, future is forgiven. -

Christians do not have to be ashamed to use the word "Christian".
I still think "believers" is too neutral a word to use. -

huh why the need for the use of ashamed word? i m a buddism so if ppl ask me wat religion i m , i jus tell the truth lor. my frens are christian they also say so ma. Except i cant STAND those ppl hor, who will try all sort of methods ask u join their religion, giving carrots and promptly to degrade ur religion say what only ur god is supreme. Hello Pls respect each other religion ok. If u are these kind of ppl, u should be ashamed of urself and be glad Singaporeans are tolerant of ur stupid behavior. If u r in other state, i think ppl will prob clobber u.

I respect u as a buddhist, at least u are not like some of the Christians here, who do not dare to profess their faith and whom I am disappointed with.

I dun usually see christians going round the world declaring he is a christian. In fact, most are quite reluctant to say they are Christians. Men's personal belief onto Lord Jesus Christ is more important than whenever he profess himself as Christian or not.
Many professing Christian held the form, but not the power. Ashame isn't it?
Many held holiness and godliness high and honor and adoration, but never spoke or projected and works of the spirit, the presence of God. Ashame isnt it?
People may have even spoke of praying for a car lot.
And forgot to thank God for the very breath they take.
Have one stop to look at the sky and take God for the wonder clouds and atomsphere He had created for each person? Ashame isn't it?
Professing Christians......wake up from the slumber and worship the real God you professing Christians spoke about. Show forth the power of the Holy Spirit and be worthy of being a Christian.
This always reminds me of Moses and the Isrealites.....Judges, Kings....
God is always waiting for His people.....to know His heart.

I agree with u that the first part is about professing, but the 2nd and most important part should be living sacrifices for our lord Jesus.
The reality of life is indeed rather sad, but God is making sure everything in control. U dun have to lose faith by saying that u are just a "believer". Men may have failed u but they do not reflect what christianity is all about. -

its not a christian trying to preach to someone or what.
Its just like someone ask you, "are you a christian?". Instead of "ahh..eh....hmm...". They can just proudly say, "i am a christian".
And there should be nothing wrong with that. Seriously, that's just that, what's so difficult to answer?
Like, "are you a buddhist?", "ehh..ahh....actually i more of a free-thinker", rather than "Yes, i am a buddhist!", if you are truly a buddhist.
I mean, what's so difficult professing?

I dont agree with what MC Square said. Good Christian still kena hum tum. Or else why so many martyrs for Christ or why so much persecution for some Christians. Why even though when Christians live out their lives as a good Christian according to what MC said, people still despise them or persecute them? I myself have undergone great persecution just bcos i am a Christian. False accusations have been leveled against me & every little fault is magnified to accuse me of being a bad person just bcos i am a Christian.
I think unbelievers have to realise they have a set mentality against Christians no matter good or bad ones. They will give reasons not to believe bcos of this sin of this Christian lah & that sin of that Christian lah when they are not supposed to fault find other people but to examine themselves & come to God on their own terms. They cannot stand before God one day & say hey those Christians are an awful bunch of people so i didnt believe bcos of them so cannot fault me God. What do u think God will say? -
I agree with u. It's not difficult professing bcos a Christian is a Christian, cannot run one. A cat is a cat & a dog is a dog. Even if the cat or dog do nasty things, it is still a cat or a dog. Even if the cat or dog do good things, it STILL IS a cat or a dog. This is the nature of the born again Christian. We are a new creation inside as a new man.
