Righteousness through faith

20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
27Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. 28For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. 29Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. 31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

As seen from above, righteousness through faith and we uphold the law becoz we love Christ, not righteousness by keeping god's commandments and using it for our salvation, becoz we can never be righteous by ourselves.
God's salvation for us is guaranteed thru Christ, not by the law. -

Yes, Jesus Christ is our righteousness. We cannot be saved by law keeping or good works. When we accept Christ Jesus, we put on His robe of righeousness on us, so that we are completely covered under the blood of Jesus. First, let me stress on this...
We received the gift salvation from God, by grace, thought the finished work of Christ. Our good works does not and is not able to contribute one single bit to this, neither is our lack of good works able to deduct anything.
The only reason we do and is able to do good works is by the grace of God (so no one can boast about this).
Want to obey the laws or the ten commandments? whenever one want to do this, one must be clear of why and how we should do this.
The Ten Commandments given to the Jews via Moses by God is Perfect, and it demands perfect and complete obedience, meaning, must follow and obey fully all of them, and not just fully, but must be done in a perfect manner.
By our own strength, we can never fully and completely follow the law or the Ten commandments, that is why Jesus have to come and fulfill them for us, and through His act of obedience, the full requirement of the Law is fully, completely and perfectly fulfilled.
Now that we are no longer living under the Law, but under Grace, does this means we can totally disregard the Law and be lawless?
Absolutely not, but what does this living under grace means? Simply its means this, we are to always remembering that our righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our works/obedence. -

Jer 31:33-34
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel
after that time," declares the LORD.
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,"
declares the LORD.
"For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more."
personally, this is how I see this, God through the prophet Jeremiah declares this and I personally feels that this is about us.
He will put His laws into our minds, and write it on our hearts.
How is He going to do it? could this means the Holy Spirit, who He had given to all who had received and put their faith in Christs?
The purpose of the Holy Spirit is this, to remind, to guide and to enable us to the things of the Lord.
Meaning what? meaning, we do no have to force ourself to obey the law, the Lord Himself will guide us in the rights/wrongs from within us, and not just guide us, but also giving us the desire and the enablement to do so.
But remember one thing, again, I am repeating this, our righteousness is not from obeying the law or doing good works, its from our Lord Jesus Christ, Hence in the event where we failed, we must remember, that there is now no comdemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and also there is grace sufficient for us to stand up and move on.

Justification is once and binding. Our salvation is guaranteed thru Christ's perfect work on the cross.
Gospel Justification:
1) What is justification?
Justification is an act of God's free grace, where he pardons all our sins.
2) Free Grace - based on Christ's merits, not men's
3) Our pardon - our sins
4) Our acceptance - of what our lord did for us on the cross
5) By faith apart from the law (Romans 3:21, 22)
God has given us his grace freely. Let's not take his grace in vain by wanting to please him by observing the law.
Let us not rely on works but by his grace - and not rob god of his glory (salvation in saving us thru grace) -
