thanks for the concern. but no worries. i attended NCC neither as member nor a new Christian. it'd been kindava visit of a fren, who oddly enuff was from a reformed church like mine. So i had to find out what it was that drew her, or also what she felt she was drawn to.

Pastors, especially those of a big church, has a huge responsibility over their flock and one mistake made can make a lot of people go the wrong path regardless of how one apologize (esp when people like to say "pastor XXX says...." instead of reading or refering back to the bible for themselves.
Blessings....who does not want them? Sweet words are good to listen, blessings are good to have, but the focus should always be on Christ. We should always speak up for things that are unsound and warn others of this. -

Not whether the church is big or small. It's the LIVES, leaders are dealing about.
Personally, I feel that a godly person with a compassionate and teachable heart, is far better than a person full of knowledge but have no heart for the people.
(of course, if can have both heart and knowledge, then is best combination lah).
