Is smoking a sin?

Since smoking is harmful to our bodies and the word spoke of our body as the temple of God. Therefore, to harm our body is sin.
Conclusion, Smoking is sin.

Yes, but what if he hasn't? I wasn't criticising Ps Prince in the first place! I agree with what he was saying that MEN WERE NOT CREATED TO SMOKE, even if it's just a joke. Ppl were criticising me for what Ps Prince said instead. I agree with Ps Prince that smoking is harmful altho he didnt say it's a sin. I agree it's a CANCER STICK. I agree that the devil uses hard core smokers to tempt Christian smokers & then giving them disease & death. SO DID I CRITICISE PS PRINCE? The only reason why Satan has no power to take life unless God specifically allowed him to do it. Therefore Satan has no power to take or preserve life. -

One day many years ago, I was at a Catholic Church and there was this ang mo who was smoking a cig and when someone called him "Father" I suddenly realised that he was the parish priest.
I think non catholics chiristians are fundamentalistic insane people..... -

Well, but i heard a lot of preachers say that the devil has power over the lives of non believers. Is that correct bcos they are children of wrath or sinners without the saving blood of Christ? -
The catholic church has been guilty of a lot of crimes against humanity & true bible believing Christians. Let me speak from a christmastics who had went through both deliverance services as well as training to in deliverance (all these are in the past now). Jesus promised that God will send the Holy Spirit to the believers, and the Holy Spirit will reside in the believers as comforter and consellor. God also says that he will never leave you nor forsake you.
What then has Satan over the things of God, and in this case the people of God.
However the devil can still decieve a believer into believing his lies and hence falls into his (the devil's trap).
What defense, a believer have in this case since the devil is such a good liar, the answer is in Jesus, keep being reminded of Christ, His suffering, death and resurrection, why He have to go through all these? That we may be make whole, our body healed and we are reconciled back to God (Isaiah53).
Keep your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face.
And things of this earth will grow strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace

Smoking means punishing those people who are around you and punishing yourself as a smoker.
