Hmm, there are people who kill out of love. I think I recall the bible says "an eye for an eye" .
Matthew 5:38-42
Part of Jesus's Sermon on the Mount.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth. But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you."
God's message in the above law (An eye for an eye....) can be originally found in Exodus 21:24 - A law given to the judges and instituted as a guide for the judges. Not so much for personal relationships or to justify revenge. In context of the cruel times of the ancient world - this rule made punishment fits the crime. Jesus's Sermon on the Mount make use of this principle to teach His people about mercy and not to retaliate.
So what what is the relationship between the Bible saying an eye for an eye and people killing out of love ?
